Note: Please ignore rust and peeling paint. I have only recently obtained and mounted this post drill. It and the wall both need work!


 

The image to the right illustrates the overall post drill. It is mounted on a board which is then mounted to the wall. This gives clearance for the flywheel and crank handle.


This short looping QuickTime movie illustrates the ratchet mechanism of the auto feeding feature of this post drill. You may control the movie with the slider controls. It runs through one full hand crank then repeats.
